PHOTOS: Easter Bunny drops off eggs, treats for Agassiz-Harrison

Hundreds of kids harvested Easter treats on a sunny Saturday

The Easter Bunny has spread some springtime cheer in Agassiz-Harrison.

Local kids gathered hundreds of Easter eggs scattered throughout Agassiz’s Pioneer Park on Saturday, March 30. District staff said by the end of the first hour, at least 200 children had hunted for their share of the Easter egg harvest, returning the eggs to the Agassiz-Harrison Museum’s parking lot for prizes.

Volunteers at the museum hosted a hot chocolate station and a scavenger hunt with a prize draw.

Harrison’s Central Community Church hosted an Easter egg hunt at Spring Park in Harrison Hot Springs. Church staff reported a turnout of about 200 people; they found a grand total of more than 3,000 pieces of chocolate among them.
